Politics, power, and a cliffhanger that broke me. Read my Season 3 thoughts on The Diplomat.
I picked this up as a companion to my BSF study in Revelation, and it turned out to be an incredibly helpful resource. I appreciated how thoroughly Christ-centered the commentary was. It offered insights I wouldn’t have thought of on my own, and whenever I felt lost in certain passages, it shed light and clarity in ways that deepened my understanding.
For a long time, I was intimidated by Revelation. The images of suffering, persecution, and tribulation made me fearful. But through BSF and this book, I found something unexpected—hope. I realized that I can face hardship because God holds the future, and my faith rests in Him. his world is temporary, and if being refined by fire is part of the path to eternity with Him, I can endure it—or at least pray for God’s strength and sustaining grace to carry me through.
