The third installment in the series is another clever and charming mystery. The Thursday Murder Club is investigating a decades-old unsolved case—only to find themselves targeted by a killer who wants the past to stay buried.
Those red herrings are sneaky! The why and the how caught me off guard, even though I partially guessed what happened. The red herrings were everywhere, and you really have to pay attention!
I liked how the author showed the parallelism between the past and the present and how their choices differed. Their choices shaped their future. Here we go again with 'what ifs.' It's fascinating how all the books I've recently read revolve around choices and regrets.
I rated it less than the second installment just because Joyce here was a tad bit annoying.
